For the last ten years I would not have thought twice about grabbing dinner with a girlfriend but with a new baby, that is almost an unheard of idea. However, a good friend from the States was in town and after coordinating with Mark he was able to watch Lily I went out. My friend and I had dinner at Mediterranean restaurant Bacchanalia Mayfair and it was a very glam girls night out. For the first time in months I spent a baby free evening eating, laughing, and catching up!
I did not shoot these pictures on my DSLR or even particularly for a Fashion Friday but these days it is go with the flow, especially with Miss Lily. My very glam friend Claire Banx took these photos both inside the restaurant and in the very glam bathroom. In return I snapped these shotss of her which clearly are on a next level from mine but I keep reminding myself that I need to stop comparisons and accept where I am in this stage in life.
If this dress looks familiar I actually have another black and lace dress similar to this one, which you have seen here, but this BB Dakota Milford dress first appeared in a Fashion Friday post way back in 2016! As you can imagine, this BB Dakota dress is out of stock now on all of the main sites like Lulu’s but I did find it for sale on Poshmark for only $15! Social followers saw one of these shots on Instagram, here, and I linked a few of the pieces on LiketoKnow. It but here is a full deep dive!

And two selfies with Claire:
I am torn with whether I would recommend this restaurant, Bacchanalia, as the food was nice but perhaps not worth the cost especially given the small portions. We started with the Tuna Tartare which was served with citrus dressing, avocado, and a crispy spiced phyllo. Then for the main we shared the Tortelloni with porcini, fresh pea, parmesan, and burnt butter as well as the Grilled Jumbo Prawns seasoned with garlic olive oil and chilli which was also arrived in a burnt butter sauce.
What do you think of my outfit for our girls night out?

Wow. I love your little black dress and those killer red bottom high heels. Your post pregnancy’s body is almost back to where you were before you were pregnant. Always nice to be out with friends. Love the photo of you with the statue. Claire is styling too. Bought a little white dress while I was in Charleston and I can’t wait to model it for boyfriend tomorrow night with a killer high heel. It will be nice to drive boyfriend crazy for a while we are out to dinner before we get to some indoor bedroom sports.
