While in most places in the world this look is getting to be not quite seasonable I wanted to make sure I shared it before we got too late. Lockdown overt eh last six months has greatly limited my opportunities to dress tip so when we were in St. Lucia I took the opportunity a few times. I shared this white lace dress for a fancy evening Gand this green maxi dress for a more casual night. And in my opinion I have saved the best for last, this Lace Off the Shoulder Dress.
I have had this Dennett Lace Off the Shoulder Dress from BB Dakota for three years and I am quite surprised it has never made the blog before! As far as off the shoulder dresses go I am usually hit or miss with them as I do not love having full range of motion of my arms. However, as this one has non annoying elastic around the top hem which gives it is a good combination of stretch and also takes away some of the fear that I am going to rip it. In addition, I usually try to only buy clothes made out of cotton so they are both breathable and machine washable but once in a while I make an exception, like this dress. The shell is made up of rayon, nylon, and spandex but it is surprisingly comfortable.

Mark took all of the photos above – quite patiently as I might add as we were on our way to dinner and he was definitely hungry. And after the last shout a very nice couple offered to take one of us and I a quite pleased with how it came out:
And before I sign off, while this lace off the shoulder dress fits for a tropical date night in St. Lucia I also wore it in 2017 to my work Christmas party as I knew it would be very warm in that room, and I was right.

Perfect dress for a warm tropical night. I love how you paired it with a pop of blue and those high heel sandals. With less offortunities to dress up due to covid I have to create opportunities to dress up and last night was one of them. I wore a red dress with my metallic high heel sandals for date night and forced boyfriend into dressing up too. Covid is acting up again in Brooklyn and there might be shutdowns again in the near future.
