Independence Day is right around the corner and believe it or not, I almost forgot. At the start of June you could barely walk a block in London without seeing purple posters, banners, or memorabilia to celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee. However, Fourth of July in England is nearly the exact opposite of the Jubilee – why would they celebrate a day where they lost a war and a very profitable piece of the British Empire?
My husband, being British, calls the 4th of July traitor day but as nearly half of my readers are in the United States – and I am still an American – it is still a cause for celebration. In my online shopping endeavours over the past few weeks I came across the adorable patriotic collection at Pink Lily and then began seeing stars and stripes on a half dozen more sites including American Eagle, Etsy, Free People, and Lulus as well as Nordstrom, Shein and Target. From all of these cute options for 4th of July apparel I have gathered a collection of cute ideas for next weekend!
American Flag And Letter Graphic Tee (only $10)
And while a bit misleading as the title of the post says 4th of July apparel I came across two very patriotic pieces on Wayfair that I felt I just had to include!
The options above just scream stars and stripes with American flags and very blatant patriotic colors. While cute I think it limits the seasonality of when you can where them so I also wanted to include more subtle options (in this set, click to shop as well!)
Would you wear any of this 4th of July apparel?
