Hello from Portugal! I have fun live travel updates coming your way soon but before that, I wanted to share a little something different. Last week I noticed 2020 post Have you Heard of Atticus Poetry? has begun trending again and I figured it is about time to bring you more from my favorite poet. in elementary school loved Shel Silverstein and I can still recite one of his poems, “I was walking in a circle when I spied a piece of paper covered with a pretty picture colored yellow, green and red and ….” from heart more than 20 years later.
I will say though, he is likely not the most well written poet when comparing to all of the authors I had to read in high school and university. One of the perks of being an adult though is certainly chowing what you get to read (at least outside of the office) and only reading what interest you. For me that has been countless books and for the past five years my new favorite poet, Atticus.
He has published multiple books of poetry and my first post had a handful poems I love but I felt it was about time to share more Atticus poetry quotes. All of the poems below are from Atticus’ Instagram unless otherwise noted, below the image.
“Late In Love” Typed + Signed Poem
“You Are Enough” Typed + Signed Poem
As your can see with the signed prints, the poet sells items on his store and while I have a few pieces that we got as engagement gifts but i think I need more. In particular I think this Custom Atticus ring is gorgeous featuring the poem “It was her chaos that made her beautiful.
Which of these Atticus Poetry Quotes is your foavirte?

My favorite one is the day you choose to love yourself.
They always say that no one will really love you until you love yourself and I really think that that is so true.
We have to find our inner confidence and be at peace with ourselves warts and all and focus on all of our positive points every day.

I like the death one in a weird sort of way.
Reminds us to live it up a little bit more and not always be so proper, sometimes we might only get one chance to do something so we should go for it like today is the last day that we are going to live!

The not waiting for a knight but a sword is awesome. We were just talking about the character Beth in Yellowstone and how she is a favorite of ours.
Strong, powerful, smart, savvy and romantic deep down at heart. She so often does and says what I would love to say sometimes. She has a very powerful sword and her knight isn’t too bad either!
