Welcome to the latest Fashion Friday featuring this tartan wool skirt. Almost reminds me of my uniform from high school which I did not realize until I was editing these photos. I think because the look is so different – from the red lipstick to the over the knee boots – but if you just look at the skirt the tartan pattern is similar. I picked up this skirt over the holidays at JCrew Factory and I am sad I can not find it anywhere online so I linked a similar option below and a few others I like here.
Speaking of sad, I am actually really bummed that I also can not link these earrings because I picked them up from a vintage shop in Berlin when I was on a business trip a number of years ago. They did not even have a decade listed on the tag, never-mind a brand, so I am not able to link them below but I think they add such a great pop of flair. I also took these photos in January and the close up of the earrings made me really realize how much I like my new hair color as when I got solid brown it tens to get a bit brassy after a while.

Never would have put those earrings with that outfit but they work.
You inspire me to be a bit bolder with my looks and try things that I never thought would go toether.
Hope you are well.

Welcome back. No time no hear. Where have you been hiding. Lovely outfit. Perfect for date night. Have a local St Patrick’s Day Dinner to go to Friday night with boyfriend. Boyfriend is part of the local St Patricks’ Day parade committee. Outfit I am planning is green skirt with tall boots round toe of course. I have your same lovely boots but I wish the heel was 4 inches plus. Yesterday was summer here. It was 72F (about 22C). I was finally able to wear a dress and high heel mule sandals for a day. Today its back to winter.
