You read that title correctly, I am pregnant and currently growing two humans. Believe me, if I had not seen them multiple times live on a sonogram and I did not have videos and photos documenting their presence in my stomach, I would not believe it either. On Wednesday I will be 17 weeks pregnant which means I am finishing up my fourth month and while I don’t have a big bump they are certainly in there.
It has definitely been quite a relationship for Mark and I – we met in 2019, got engaged in 2020, married in 2021, and now we are going to become parents in 2022! We found out just before Christmas that we were expecting and the first trimester, especially January and February, were particularly rough with all-day morning sickness. It has continued into March (up to week 16- woof) but thank goodness it has slowly started to ease up a bit the past few days. I know the year has been off to a slow start with posts – a far cry from the usual four to five a week – but now that I am starting to feel better I am excited to get back into it!
Despite having this blog and sharing my life very publicly on social media we waited to tell people until we got the all clear from the doctors and after our 12 week scan we started to tell friends and family. We shared our announcement in half a dozen ways which differed whether we were able to do it in person compared to a video call but I will share the cute ideas in the coming weeks plus the reactions I was able to record.
The fact that we are expecting twins is still a bit of a shock to the system and while we have many more months to come, I feel like they will be here before we know it! I have received dozens of questions but there are few that are very common so I plan on answering those in a follow up post so if you have any queries, leave them in the comments and I will be sure to include them in the Q&A.

Oh my sister just had twins that turned one the other day.
She said that they are a ton of work at first but then they are the best playmates for each other and that they are so cute to watch the interactions between them.
Excited to watch your development and then to get to see them on the blog. I hope that you will feature them often.
Congratulations.

So happy for you and look forward to how you are going to dress you little ones. Are they going to have sparkles and cool shoes too.
My bet is yes!

Wow. Congrats to you and Mark. You look great for 4 months pregnant. I can’t tell but the glow on the face gives it away. Twins more the fun. Time to put away the cute heels for a while soon. I guess workouts on on hold till after the twins are born. You came a long way. You forgot to add 2018 move to London (:) Will you look to get a bigger place at some point. That is one question for your future Q&A.
