With epic snow storms slamming the East Coast (thankful all of my family is safe in Boston and New York – and hoping your safe too!) it is definitely the time to talk about super warm coats. You know I love my Canada Goose down parka and I also shared one in Fashion Friday two weeks ago but taking a step back from parkas, let’s talk about a great wool Winter great.
I was planning to post this in a few days but when I noticed that this with Thinsulate is 50% off I knew it could not wait. Classic is actually in the name of the coat but it really is a timeless piece, especially with its tailored fitted look J.Crew has been using this signature double-cloth wool for more than 20 years and the quality is impeccable, no surprise since it comes from directly from a mill in Italy’s called Manifattura di Carmignano mill. This wool Winter coat is available in seven colors, take a look:
in Black
in Misty Blue
in Bright Cherry
in Vintage White
in Deep Midnight
in Warm Taupe
in Fresh Raspberry
Hopefully one of these colors suits your fancy and the it is still in stock in your size, but hurry, I am sure they will sell out soon. And in case this coat is not for you, J. Crew is have an awesome promo – take an with the promo code SALETIME but hurry, February 14th is the last day!
Which color wool Winter coat would you pick?

Ideally the Misty Blue as I look really good in blue. However, I can just see me spilling my morning coffee down the front of it and yikes.
Do you have any idea how stain resistant it is? Otherwise I might go for the raspberry looking one. So tired of boring black.

Thinsulate, love this product and I own a lot of things with it in them and it really works.
Some of the colors are so pretty but I can only envision that the white and baby blue would get mud splattered in the city where I live.
Other colors are really nice though and I like the style, not too bulky looking.

Maybe I just haven’t been in a store in forever but that raspberry color coat is gorgeous. It would really go so well with almost everything. My navy pants, my black pants, tan really probably everything except for red or green.
Sometimes I get bored with my black coat and I’m going to have to check this out. Such a fun color it would always put a smile on my face when I put it on.

I really appreciate a longer coat like the ones you are featuring.
Especially when the wind is whipping around me. Good suggestions.
