While it has been unseasonably warm here in England (50°F / 10°C instead of 35°F / 2°C) it is usually the season, the end of January, where I have to pull out my warmest layers and for the past three winters that has been this warm Canada Goose jacket.
For two seasons in New York I hemmed and hawed over buying this jacket not loving the branding on the shoulder or how much of a cult item it had become but after booking a trip to Iceland I bit the bullet and bought one. And my only regret is that I did not do it sooner. I did quite a bit of research and the heavyweight, non-stretch Arctic Tech weave fabric and the water resistant material that goes down to mid-thigh were the biggest selling points for me.
I tried quite a few different styles and ended up going with the Canada Goose Victoria Parka which is one of the most simple designs. The official warmth rating on the site means the jacket will keep you warm until the temperature drops below -14° F / -20°C and I have absolutely NO plans of going anywhere that cold. Take a look at all of the places my jacket has been including Paris, Russia, Bucharest, Iceland, New York, and all over the United Kingdom!

Please let me know if you’re looking for a writer for your site. You have some really great articles and I feel I would be a good asset. If you ever want to take some of the load off, I’d absolutely love to write some content for your blog in exchange for a link back to mine. Please blast me an email if interested. Kudos!

I have a Pajar Parka I just got this winter and I LOVE it. By far the warmest coat I have ever had and so comfortable!

Been wondering if they were worth the money and after reading this, I know that the answer is yes.
I have tried a few other types of jackets/coats like these and I have ended up still cold and feeling like I look like the good year blimp or something equally unattractive. Interesting how many different locations you are wearing it in and seems like you get a lot of wear out of it. How is it holding up?

I have a couple of friends who have these coats in the short and long version and they swear by them.
I am always cold so I should probably bit the bullet and purchase one. I like how they don’t make you look like a big fat sausage in it like many puff coats do.

Hi, kelly
It has been such a mild winter here in arkansas, I havent really even had to use a coat this year. I am not a fan of logos being seen, so I totally get what you were saying about them. I think your jacket looks super cozy and warm. So cool you get to travel so much. Ive never been to any of those places!
