Every day the news is filled with more terrible things about the Omicron variant and dozens of speculations of what will happen next. I have every finger and toe crossed that the Prime Minister does not decide to cancel Christmas again or put us into lockdown but until then, here we go with my museum outfit. Most of London is back to normal right now and that means museums, thought you have to book ahead of time, even if they are free!
One might think given the number of museums we went to in Italy that we would be done with pantings but only two weeks after returning, Mark and I booked tickets to visit the National Gallery. We took in most of the top works except for the Vincent van Gogh ‘Sunflowers’- you can see more highlights from The National Gallery collection here. One of my favorites was another Vincent van Gogh, A Wheatfield, with Cypresses, and which you can see a few shots of below. But before that I will mention you definitely have seen this top before, this black and white top was also featured here.

Having museum envy.
I have not gotten to go to one in so long that I am seriously going through withdrawals. I have done a few virtual tours but it really isn’t the same.
Great way to spend a cold day in the city and yes the blouse is really cute too.

I have been looking for more outfits with details like the sleeves in this blouse that just differentiate it from the ordinary.
It really does make a difference in the whole look. Add a bit of femininity to this one especially.

Cute casual museum outfit. Perfect for a winter weekend outing. Last time I went to a museum was the museum of Natrual Art in NYC and I had a great time. This was just before covid. I wore a purple dress with my black 5 inch high heel sandals. Every guy loved my outfit and one guy was slapped in the face by his girlfriend because he starred at me. Girl was insecure and a wacko. Boyfriend was in dress shoes, black shirt and a nice sports jacket. One girl looked him down and she was nice enough to complement both of us. Museums for us is dress up time. Going to the edge today. Because it’s 30f here it’s jeans and big jacket day aka ugly fashion day.
