“Here comes the rain again Falling on my head like a memory.”
– Eurythmics, ‘Here Comes The Rain Again’.
Happy Friday! I am so happy to be back with Fashion Friday though I am sad that it does not look anything like the outfits (or bath suits) I was wearing on our honeymoon last weeks. This red raincoat was a fantastic find at a second hand store in my neighboorhood where all proceeds are donated to cancer research. It is from the brand Hobbs, a British retailer based in London, and a popular choice for trenches here in England.
I wore this look on Wednesday when I went to an event with a famous dermatologist here in London. During the early evening event I got to meet Dr. Ariel Haus of Dr. Haus Dermatology, hear his thoughts on and the science behind aging, and then see a live demo of Maili being used two different patients. I did not actually get any photos of me at the event but was able to take these photos on my balcony I headed out:
Coat |
Bodysuit | . Umbrella |
Skirt | . Shoes |
And I did take a few shots of this outfit before it got soo rainy but sadly a bit out of focus. Just so you can see the bodysuit and skirt without the jacket, here you go:
What do you think of this red raincoat and overall rainy day look?

Living in London one must own more that one rain coat and I think that I will have to add this to my collection for those days when it is misting more than those torrential down pour days.
Hope it looks as good on me as it does on you.

From the smiles on your face in the last two photos you have your answer. You can tell that you are happy and know that you owned that look. Particularly good with the black umbrella contrast.

Giving me the much needed push to get a new one. Mine is a bit shoddy at this point and I bet a crisp new one will help my mood when it is gray outside.

You look so good in that you should wear it more often.
