Swimming with pigs? You better believe it! My only complaint about our honeymoon is that it didn’t last longer! You likely saw the photo above as I shared it on Instagram but it needs to be immortalized on the blog because it truly showcases one of my favorite days in recent memory! We kicked off our minimoon with a big adventure day last Tuesday and then left the Bahamas on Sunday. For the past few days I have been reminiscing about our honeymoon highlights and I am finally sharing them with you today. Mark and I spent 5 days on Grand Exuma and we stayed at Emerald Bay which was our second visit to a Sandals Resort (the first was St. Lucia last year).
We were able to scuba dive nearly every day and while we were there Mark completed his PADI Advanced Open Water certification which means we can both now dive to 30m / 100 feet. Full posts about our adventure day (pigs, iguanas, grottos, and more), the resort, and scuba diving will be coming your way soon but until then, here are some of my favorite photos!

I ordered frozen cocktails (affectionally known as umbrella drinks) at the resort’s main pool and then brought them over to the quiet pool to read and enjoy while floating around on a raft – truly living the life!
These Sashimi and Rolls at Soy Sushi restaurant were delicious, I got seconds!
At the same spot as the first shot, I had SO much fun on Pig Island and the babies were just too cute!

Which is your favorite shot from these honeymoon highlights?

The sushi looked so yummy I wanted to pull up a seat next to you and share.
Now feeding the iguanas? How brave, I don’t think that I would have gotten that close to them. I know that they won’t hurt you but they look so scary. Were you scared?
Great honeymoon photos.

Baby pigs on a honeymoon, now that’s a first for me.
Looks like you two had a fabulous time and that purse is too cute.
Congratulations.

Looks like you two had an awesome honeymoon. To me the best pictures are the one with you in the water with the pigs. I also love the mirror elevator selfie in the kinik bikini. Later this month for Thanksgiving I can’t wait to slip myself back into my pink bikini, stylish dresses and sandals while I am in Florida. Already got my bag packed.
