This Year’s Birthday Wishlist

I am not sure where August went but suddenly we are already in the middle of September and that means my birthday is two weeks from today, eek!  I used to celebrate my birthday for a whole month (which Mark that was ridiculously weird when we first met) but now i have relegated it to just one week.  That does not mean I do not like it any less, I just realize it needs  some boundaries.  This year for this very un-milestone big day there two very different kinds of items on my birthday wishlist – some are  pretty and I want just because versus overly practical things but here thy are together.

1 |  – I sleep with an eye-mask every evening and recently I started getting Instagram adds for this one.  I already have a few but this one speaks to me with its total black-out design, silk covering that is washable, and that it blocks out noise too!

2 |    – Not as pretty as the eye mask but something else blue –  I have borrowed a few waterproof bags over the past year and these carriers really are key for boat or beach days. I definitely want one with a long adjustable shoulder strap to carry around for all of my future water based adventures!

3 | –  For the past few months I have been dangerously putting my DSLR in the bottom of any bag, usually padded by jacket but it could use a prettier home plus my body will thank me with the padded shoulder strap. And I was surprised at how reasonable this one was!

4 |     – I have bought a few new brushes sporadically since I moved to England but my collection could really use an upgrade and this 10-piece set from Morphe would be just perfect!

5 |    – In Croatia dove with someone who had the MARES EOS 10RW Diving Torch which is best in class but given I don’t dive all that frequently I am not sure I need to spend that much money so this would work perfectly to find the hidden fish and light up shots for my scuba diving photography.

6 |    –  I have had quite a few pairs of Rainbows and they are hands down the best.  After years of love though I need to replace them and it is about time.  Since I have owned half a dozen I know that I specifically want the double layer ones  the  1/2″ narrow straps and in the lighter shade of Buckskin.

7 | –  These shoes above, too cute, right? Now that back to the office is becoming a real thing and commuting along with it, I am in the market for a few new pairs of comfortable flats and these are on sale!

8 | Riviera Micropavé Sapphire and Diamond Eternity Ring in Platinum. I really don’t need this but when looking at wedding bands came across this beautiful ring. Sapphires are my birth stone and though my wedding band is plain, this one just speaks to me and would be a great right hand ring, no?

9 | I have seen this hat from Urban Outfitters on Instagram for years but I only recently learned they make it in beige which just screams early fall to me!

For me though every birthday and Christmas wishlist could really just be comprised of two items – the Cartier Love Bracelet and a black quilted Chanel bag, my two most coveted items!
