I have said it before and I will say it again for someone who loves wearing as much black as I do I hate all-black outwear. If you need to bundle up – hats, mittens, scarf, and a large jacket then it is likely dreary and cold so why not add a pop of color to your ensemble? I have written about cute pom pom hats and chic cashmere texting gloves but today I want to share this coat I found that takes it up another notch!
I have also been living in these Faux Leather Leggings since I got them – they are actually comfortable enough they are what I chose to wear on a very long work day / commute to Boston – so stretchy and soft!

I really like how this look came out – starting with a black base and letting the hunter green coat be the focal point while accessorizing with pops of brown and metallics. It is now too cold in NYC to wear this but once it gets a bit warmer expect to see a lot more of this look IRL.
Do you own anything hunter green?

My favorite fall sweater is hunter green as well as one of my favorite scarves. I have not seen a coat in this color but it would be a fun switch. I like how you paired it with the boots, such a perfect fall combo.

Super coat…looks practical but still fashionable. I have a normal black coat that is showing some wear. Maybe I will try a new color.

Such a nice change from basic black. I also think you could style it with many different colored scarves.
