You may remember I posted in late January on what was supposed to be 100 days before my original wedding date that we were postponing. It was a very hard and sad decision but ultimately the right one so now the countdown is back on and we have hit the 100 day mark. I am in a number of bride to be facebook groups and seeing the other girls who are October 30th “date twins” have started to make me much more excited.
Since I got engaged more than a year ago I have been using the checklist from the Knot as a source of truth and a guideline on when I should be doing certain things in the wedding planning process. At the hundred day mark there are quite a few things that are listed it feels good that I am either done or making progress on all of them;
- Once you’ve found your cake baker, it’s time to officially order your wedding cake. We have ordered it!
- If you want your invitations professionally addressed, hire a calligrapher. We are not doing calligraphy but the invites have been ordered and are currently being made!
- Attend your shower! Living abroad and it still being a pandemic sadly I am not having one so we can just cross this one off.
- Hire wedding day transport (like limousines or party buses). We have a plan for transport but have yet to book it, a good reminder to do so!

Is there anything you think I should be doing at 100 days and counting?

You are so smart to break in those shoes. They are so pretty that you are going to wear them for as long as possible.
I hope that all the guests get to see them as they are really something special. You might just have to pick your dress up at some point and wow the crowd with those beauties.

So many little details to remember but I am sure your wedding is going to be over the moon.
Doesn’t hurt that you are so beautiful that you will be the most stunning bride ever.
Good luck with the final details Kelly.

Those shoes are to die for and certainly fits the name of your blog. Lots of sparkles.
My sister is getting really serious with her boyfriend and just sent her this post. I wouldn’t be surprised if she copies your very stylish and pretty shoe choice.
Great call.
