My Faux Orchid Search

At the start of the month I shared on IG that I was really pleased with myself that all of my pants and trees made it through the winter.  Since moving in a year ago we now have six trees on the balcony, three regular plants, two hanging plants, and one indoor tree. Woah, I actually have never counted before this moment and that is a lot of plants which I will be sure to feature in a new apartment update post.  But today, I need your help on my faux orchid quest.  While I am not a fan of fake plants the hallway of our apartment is super dark and has absolutely no natural light.  I have tried to even to put a low light plant there but it nearly died because no light and low light are not the same thing.

Thus I have decided a faux plant is really want we need for this table. And thus, my search.  Last week I got an email from Wayfair called and that kickstarted my search again.  When looking I was actually floored that there were options that were more than £800 or $1,000 and that is just not in my budget.  (In case you don’t believe me – is £200, this one from Bloomsbury Market is £510, and is £642. Thus I have looked at options with a cut off with £50, as a max price, which I even I think that is a bit high. Here are the prettiest faux orchid options I have found within my budget:

This search for a faux orchid is also tricky because the website pictures look gorgeous but it is hard to tell the material and quality.  For instance, I have seen ones look gorgeous in person but waxy in person so I have only chosen ones with dozens of high reviews.
