I am not usually a fan of the phrase new year, new you because it is usually meant to sell things to people – planners, gym memberships, weight loss pills, and more. Well today’s post is a more helpful twist on that – if you want to workout it’s always more fun in cute workout clothes. So today I bring you ombre activewear, give me a dark to light design or the other way around, they both can work!
But let’s be clear – this is different from colorblock – the colors need to seamlessly fade, hence, ombre. Besides a cute pattern I need workout clothes that are lightweight, breathable, and stretchy while still looking stylish. I am not afraid of a little sweat (as you likely know from my fitness series) but overheating because your clothes don’t breathe? No Thank you. “sweat wicking” si a great word in my book as is “spandex” in the list of materials. And it is almost like I had “taste the rainbow” in mind – here are sport bras, leggings, tights, shorts, and more that cover the full hue of the color wheel.

Along with these pretty choices I also have two honroable mentions, the LEMON Marled Ombre Legging in Light Blue/Pastel and the Jane Slimming Ombre Activewear Leggings but as I am not familiar with either brand I can not attest to the quality. Ohhh the Zella Ombré Seamless Turtleneck Top and pants are by far my favorite. Never seen anything like this and perfect for when I do to scoot our before a few errands and then go and work out and not look like I am going to work out.
So stylish I might even wear it for day wear sometimes.

Some of these are really attractive and so different. I have been spending a lot of time in my work out gear lately, I know, shocking and could use a few more pieces to vary my look. Some also need to go in the trash so this is the perfect reason to invest in a few new pieces.
