We made it back to London and as yesterday was a bank holiday in England (essentially we celebrate Labor Day a week early) today is my first day back to real life. And as much as I don’t want to rub it in, yes, our trip was as good as the photos made it look. Waking up this morning I was still partly in denial that the beach is a bit further than a sixty second walk from my bed.
I will be writing a full review (or two) on our stay at the Sandals Grande St. Lucian as well as sharing more about the 11 different scuba dives we did over our week in St. Lucia but similar to my Live from St. Lucia post last week I wanted to share more photos from our trip now that we are back from the Caribbean:
I love a good over water swing
Overwater Bungalows at The Sandals Grande St. Lucian
Date night at one of the fancy restaurants
Dinner at Gordon’s on the Pier
Sailing in Rodney Bay
Maxi dress for another resort dinner
A 262 foot super yacht called ARTEFACT, owned by Mike Lazaridis, the founder of Blackberry (the phone)
The resort’s lagoon pool which our room backed onto
As water sports were included we took the sailboat out a handful of times.
As mentioned we did quite a bit of scuba diving and based on the layout of the island to reach each dive site we took a boat. Depending on the depth, visibility, and size of the group we stayed underwater between half an hour and an hour each time. When I checked my log book and added it up it was a bit over seven hours of diving so as you can imagine I have hundreds of photos. Now that I am back from the Caribbean I am starting to go through them all but here are my favorites:
As mentioned, more St. Lucia posts will be coming to you soon but let me know if there is anything in particular you would be interested in hearing more about!

Catching up on your blog. Any suggestions for traveling there? Looks fantastic and I have wanted to do more scuba diving since I got certified.
This looks like a super easy way to get in a lot of diving and to see really great coral etc…

How did you compare this resort and the all inclusive format versus some of your other scuba diving trips you have done in the past?
How was the food, the one dinner shot here looked tasty.
How would you rate the safety of the scuba diving? Was the equipment top quality? The dive instructor?

Been following your posts on Instagram. I know you had a fantastic time and the photos are gorgeous. So jealous I would’ve loved to have gone scuba diving, kayaking, sailing, paddle boarding, really anything. Looks like a really awesome spot.
I was telling my boyfriend that we need to go and soon. Hope we have half a good as time as your did.
