Lionesses in the Masai Mara
This may not be the most sensitive thing to say right now but I have SERIOUS case of wanderlust and my Pinterest trip planning is going well, for when the virus is over. I will share a bit more about that trip when I get further but for now as I mentioned on Instagram I spending the next few weeks decorating the apartment. My new flat still has many white walls and over the weekend I toyed with the idea of blowing up a few more of my Kenya prints. If you have been around Sparkles and Shoes you may recall I visited Kenya in the Summer of 2018 and had an incredible time exploring the country.
During my two holiday I went to Amboseli National Park, the Mount Kenya Safari Club, the Masai Mara National Reserve, and the capital of Nairobi. I shared eight different posts about my adventures but today want to highlight my favorite photos from across these beautiful locales. Given the state of the world and that with Coronavirus travel has clearly come to a near halt I still wanted to share memories of this great trip and even as I continue my world adventures, Kenya is definitely somewhere I would return. Besides safari there are so many places to visit in Kenya, from the modern capital of Nairobi to the stunning Giraffe Manor, to the Sheldrick Orphanage and more! And there you have it, more than a dozen images from my trip to Kenya – from some gorgeous creatures I encountered on safari to some of the places I was able to visit. Like I said before, definitely somewhere I want to return!

Funny, my boyfriend and I now that we have so much time together have been making a list of places that we want to visit once travel is safe again.
Funny how once something is taken away that you want it even more. Kind of like when you are on a diet and every ice cream or dessert commercial seems to be screaming my name.

I can’t really choose just one. It’s always been my dream to go on safari and pictures like these just make me move it up my bucket list. I envy your travel and would be thrilled to see any of these animals up close and in person. Fantastic photos as always.

I didn’t know that they had leopards, I knew about cheetahs. So that would be what I would want to see. I heard that they can climb trees and sleep on branches. Hard to believe. Did you ever see any of that?

Lions, lions and lions…big, little, standing, walking, yawning…I would want to see it all and just ride around all day long watching them and their interactions with each other.
If I could follow them while hunting well then that would be amazing.
