Happy Friday, I am so happy we made it! Let me start of today’s post by saying yes, this is definitely an unusual look for me. No, not because of the all black or because of the #leggingsaspants but because my top has writing on it. I am usually quite anti-graphic tee or anything of that sort. In fact, in seven and a half years of Sparkles and Shoes I have only worn a graphic tee once. However, there is something special about this sweater that made me buck my own trend.
There is something magical wearing all black and it brings me back to my New York roots, especially in this sweater which is a subtle nod to the city I love so much! It is also easy. Easy like my school uniform growing up when the only think you have to do is make sure they are the same shade of black (which yes, is actually a thing). For this look I like the pattern mixing of the wool sweater with the faux leather of the leggings and then the patent leather of the shoes.
