Thanksgiving has felt so far off for so long and it is crazy to think we are now only two days away! And even more crazy when you think that Sunday is December, where has this year gone? Well, while we ponder that it is defintiely the gift giving season – nevermind the sale season with the insane amount of Black Friday promotions that seem to have already started though it is days away. But enough with the rambling, let me get to the bpoint – today’s gift guide for him.
A boys gift guide with Marvel, Star Wars, fire, and technology – just those categories alone would be a crowd pleaser for most of the guys in my life. But let’s dig in and take a look at my top picks for this year’s holiday gift guide for the guys!
LL Bean Men’s Wicked Good Moccasins – I have the girls version of these and they are pure heaven on your feet – just think of them as the male version of fuzzy socks and as bonus they can take the out the trash in them!
Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) Classic Edition – Love a good throwback (30+ years) and plus it comes with classic comes that even I have heard of; Super Mario, Zelda, and Donkey Kong!
Hawthorne Tailored Scents – I have a hard time buying perfume / cologne for people because it is such a personal thing so I love any kind of kit that let’s you try different ones until he finds the perfect scent for him!
Glass Whiskey Decanter with Wood Stopper from Project 62 , Clear – I actually did not know you could / should decant whisky until recently but if it is an old bottle it makes sense that you would treat it the same way you would an old bottle of red wine!
Star Wars Darth Vader Ice Mold Set – Well, now that he has a grown up whiskey decanter we can’t get too serious so instead of a boring giant ice cube, why not a Star Wars one? Plus this is from Williams Sonoma so you know it is going to be high quality!
YETI Rambler Insulated Mug With Lid – Believe it or not, I still do not own anything from Yeti but I have heard nothing but great reviews and this is an easy gift for any commuter / coffee lover – no more coffee going cold!
French Linen Sheet Set in Slate – Why are boys obsessed with black sheets? I will never understand but these dark grey ones made of 100% French Flax Linen are a definite upgrade from any dark sheets he has had in the past.
Tile Pro Series Classic – – How many times have you heard, “Do you know where my __(insert item)___ is?” Well now he can answer that question for himself.
Apple Airpods Pro – I waited for a long time in buying a pair of. Airpods because I thought the price was too high and that I would loose them. And now I just regret not buying them sooner – if he is in the Apple family, it is a no brainer!
Biolite CmapStrove 2 Wood Camp Stove – Fire and phone charger? Have you ever heard of a more perfect boy combo?
The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA – – I may have already bought the Moisturizer above for my boyfriend who has a subpar approach to skin care but hey, baby steps, and it’s under $10 so even if he does not use it as frequently as the instructions say, it is till a win.
And the honorable mention goes to the Marvel 15 Days of Socks in a Box – Whether he wears a suit to work every day or not I think a fun conversation starter and a great excuse to get rid of a few pair of those dress socks (or even every day socks) that have bene through the wash one too many times. However, I have not seen these in real life and am unsure of the quality which is why they did not make the formal collage above!

Ok your endorsement of the Apple Airpods Pro has tipped the scale for me. I am not an apple person but my boyfriend is and he has been pinning over the airpods for a while now so I will get them for him for Christmas.
Do you have any suggestions for not loosing them as I have had several friends loose one and then they have to buy a whole new set. Another one of my drawbacks on not getting him a pair.

I can’t decide between the YETI Rambler Insulated Mug With Lid or the Glass Whiskey Decanter with Wood Stopper from Project 62 for my dad, I might have to just get both as he is such a great dad.
I can’t believe you don’t own anything YETI. I have several of their travel mugs and as advertised the liquid stays really hot or the cold really cold for far longer than any other product I have ever tried. The brand really lives up to its marketing. I don’t have a cooler yet but would be interested in asking my friends or your readers if they work as well as the travel mugs.

My brother works in one of those offices were the attire is fairly professional and routine and he told me that socks are one of the ways they can elevate their work wear. These will certainly be a conversation starter and I think he will love them.
The LL Bean Men’s Wicked Good Moccasins have my dad’s name written all over them. I can see him now drinking his cup of coffee reading the newspaper in the morning with his feet snuggled in these oh so soft looking moccasins. If they are a huge hit, which I am sure they will be I might have to get a pair myself…
