Gift Guide: Under $10 and Don’t Know Well

I took a break yesterday from my gift guides to highlight all of the wonderful things about New York City at Christmastime.  Today I bring you the last day of my present suggestions with two gift guides, one for my top gifts you can get for under ten dollars and and the last, what to get for people you do not know well.

What do I need to say?  There are tons of cute things you can pick up for under $10. Whether you need an extra something to put in the stockings on the 25th or you have one of those REALLY annoying office secret Santa’s where you are not allowed to spend any money – here are things you can pick up without breaking the rules!
The last gift guide of the series is what to get for someone you do not know well.  It may seem strange but if you think about it, you are probably going to a friend-of-a-friend’s event, have a Secret Santa person you don’t know well, or you need to give something to someone in your significant other’s family who maybe you have not even met.  Well, here are my suggestions!

More reasonable gifts you can go with a RuMe foldable tote, a photography coffee table book,  Creme de Corps by Kiehl’s, monogramed notecards, a candle in a gilded tin, and handmade vanilla marshmallows from Dean & Deluca. If you are looking for gifts at a higher budget try a trio of classy silver frames, RabLabs Natural Cele Clock, a bottle of Crystal Head Vodka, or this really cool Kettle Corn maker.   Then, if you are really, really stuck you could always go with a gift card.  I put a Becco gift card on here because it is one of my favorite restaurants in NYC but a gift card to somewhere you like that you think they might like usually goes over well.

    What great ideas!!! I love all of them. I have to say, however, that Crystal Head isn’t very good. But it could be because I’m used to super cheap vodka. hahaha.
