For the second time in as many months yesterday I headed to West London to the Olympia convention center in Kensington. This time it was not for ComicCon but for Olympia Beauty, something more up my alley. This massive event is one of the largest beauty trade events in the United Kingdom with over 100 vendors and attendees from 34 countries and I am glad that I got a press pass to be one of the lucky attendees this year.
Over the two days – Sunday and Monday – there is not only the latest of makeup, skin, and beauty there are a massive nail, lash, and brush competitions. I definitely did not enter any of those three but I did pick up a few things from one of my favorite brands – the Benefit Cosmetics Magical Brow Stars set, my go-to Benefit boi-ing industrial strength concealer, and Benefit they’re real! push-up eyeliner in black. I was tempted by quite a few other but looked and did not touch. I was also amazed that roughly half the booths were not selling or demoing products but rather featuring services. If I had been by myself I may have stayed for a brow treatment or a cool sculpt – maybe next time! Take a look at the event:
And because you could not all come along I purchased the Parisian Pin-Up collection from Benefit for one of my lucky UK readers – this set includes the BADgal BANG! full volume mascara, Gold Rush shimmering blush, Ka-Brow! cream-gel brow color, and High Beam liquid highlighter. All you have to do is enter via the Rafflecopter below and all of these could be yours plus the cute rose gold makeup bag they come in!
ANd in case you needed any more convincing, look how pretty it is:
Best of luck in the giveaway and elt me know if you want to see more beauty content here on Sparkles and Shoes!

So jealous of you. Need any of your readers say any more? I would go nuts at this event.
BTW, I noticed your shop bop necklace. Looks perfect with that dress.

What is the tape measure on that ladies forehead? I know that they were working on her eye brows but I have never seen anything like that. I want to get my eye brows shaped properly but am always afraid that the person doing it will mess it up. Do you have any tips?
Looks like a fantastic event and I would have had a lot of fun playing with all the different choices and testing out what looked best on me.

Who are you there with? I’m so jealous. I would have loved to have been your plus one.
It’s too bad you couldn’t take advantage of some of the services. Looks like they had a lot of experts on hand. Maybe next year.
I always love your new beauty tips too so keep them coming.

I want to know what those lollipop looking applicators were used for. They look like they would be really easy for me to Contour something but is it for blush or Foundation? Did you get to try those?
Looks like it was a really fun event.

Looks like an awesome event to go to. To be able to try on that many different products from the various vendors must have been like a little kid in a candy store.
Looks like it was a fabulous event.
