Fresh Floral Overload

With a snowstorm hitting New York today it certainly doesn’t feel like Spring but there is no denying next weekend is actually April and that means, give me ALL the florals!  I know, I know every time someone says florals for Spring I think of that great Devil Wears Prada quote but the pattern really is a staple and one that will never go out of style.  (And can we side bar for a moment, how excited are we about the DWP sequel that is all about Emily, eek!)  

But back to florals, I think fresh floral is such a fun take on the traditional pattern to keep it light and airy but perfect for the season – start with maxi dresses and long sleeves for early Spring and transitioning into breezy tanks and dresses that will take you straight into Summer.  Take a look at 10 of my favorite picks for the season:

And I almost included the Cushnie Et Ochs Surrealist Floral Alba Dress because I thought it would be the perfect fit until I saw the price tag –  $1,545! It sure is a gorgeous dress but that is a bit too much money for even me to recommend someone spend on a dress that isn’t floor length and white 😉  Another honorable mention would be this alice + olivia Kirby Ruffle Dress in Wildflower but I was afraid it would get too dirty!
