The first Friday Fashion of the year is here and it is a well layered look, something much needed to combat the Arctic blasts we have been facing here in New York City. When I wrote my post about cashmere gloves I mentioned I chose colorful options because most of the coats I own and to be honest, most of the winter coats you probably are own, are black. This is why I was so excited when I saw this light heather grey fleece coat because despite it’s oversized and semi-unflattering fit I thought it brought a great pop of neutral to my usual all black New York City uniform. I like your layered look but its not enough for artic blast. Its OK for normal winter. Brooklyn had 11 inches of snow. Traveling today is a mess. Since Christmas I have been locked in my black puffy winter jacket, jeans, sweaters, shirts and sneakers. Today its ugly snow/rain boots.
