For those of you who celebrate, I hope you had a great weekend leading up to today and a very, very Merry Christmas if you choose to celebrate! I will be spending time with my immediate family here in Florida with a very similar Christmas morning to what we have been doing for 30 years – presents, breakfast, and sing-along to the top Christmas carols. In our family that is lead by the Michael Bublé Christmas album and usually involves crepes with jam, brown sugar, and powdered sugar as a mid-present break – yum!
By mid day though, that is where the traditional New York Christmas plans take a turn because it sunny Florida Christmas morning is usually followed by family golf or a trip to the beach. This year, I think it will be a bit of both and then the early evening a cocktail party and perhaps a movie – I am voting for Pitch Perfect 3! It will be a very busy Christmas indeed, but we are a “doing” family, not a sitting family.
How will you be spending Christmas?
