It has been a crazy, crazy busy week and the next 36 hours have an unbelievably amount in store. I usually share a lot on this blog but this is one thing I am going to say mum on as it is work related and not quite public. But I do want to share some exciting things coming up that I can talk about so without further ado, seven things I am looking forward to:
(The #BALMAINxLOREAL Collection from the Balmain Instagram)
One. I am headed back to Cape Cod this weekend for a long weekend where I can unplug and truly relax. The only things planned are a dinners at my favorite spots, an afternoon with a long family bike ride pencilled in, and a few blogger photo shoots with my Mom – three of my favorite things!
Two.The Balmain x L’Oréal collaboration is almost here! We have known about it since May and I am hoping Elle Magazine is correct and that the we don’t have to wait much longer for the launch. Olivier Rousteing can do no wrong and this picture, shown above, makes me so happy because soon something his magical fingers have touched can be mine for less than $10!
Three. Three more weddings this year and two bachelorette celebrations – I love being a part of people’s big day and are thankful to have such great friends who invite me to the celebrations.
Four. My latest Shopbop order that is on it’s way. The box quite a few items in it including this dress, these rose gold sunglasses, and this adorable neon pink tote – I can’t wait to see them in real life! In case you are in the market you can take 15% off full price items on their first Shopbop purchase, at checkout using the Shopbop App with code APP15 (check out more here).
Five. I have decided that during my trip to Iceland in November I am going to go scuba diving between tectonic plates and it’s going to be awesome. If anyone has any other “must dos” in Iceland, let me know!
Six. I have three books waiting for me this long weekend and I am excited to see just how far I can dig into the spy novel Moscow Rules by Daniel Silva, the otherworldly book Dark Immolation, the second book in the The Chaos Queen Quintet by Christopher Husberg, and the much lighter Getting the Love You Want by Harville Hendrix Ph.D. which was recently recommend by a friend.
Seven. Next weekend I am going to my first music festival. Last November I bought a weekend pass to Electronic Zoo, fondly known as EZoo, and it will certainly be an interesting event! I love that I can walk from my Upper East Side apartment too, an added bonus!
What are you looking forward to?
