Black, White, and Rose

03/24/17 | Fashion and Style, Fashion Friday, Fashion Week, Sephora

Black and White Rooftop Rose

Hello and welcome back to Fashion Friday! I have so many outfits planned to share with you the next few weeks I even thought about post multiple but for now, let’s stick to Friday’s. This may be the first official week of Spring but it definitely did not feel like it when I grabbed a hat and mittens before heading outside yesterday – 32 degrees is definitely not Spring weather and there is still snow on the ground from our last storm! Therefore, even though I have quite a few cute dresses to share with you I am going to share a more Winter look today.

During Fashion Week last month you may recall one of the events I went to was afternoon at the Shop Style House located at Canoe Studios in Chelsea.  The massive warehouse like building is almost as West as you can get on the island of Manhattan so after picking up a much needed glass of rose Samantha of The Samantha Show and I headed out to roof terrace to admire the view and snap a few photos. I remember being quite cold taking these photos but I love how they turned out – thanks you so much Sam!

Rose on a Rooftop in a Black and White Outfit

Though I must admit in bad fashion blogger style none of these items are current – the top is from the Who What Wear collaboration with Target last year, the jeans are from Joe Fresh a seasons years back, and the boots I picked up from a shop in Dublin last Fall that I can not remember the name of – whoops! However, I did managed to find the top, lip color, and sunnies so we will consider that a partial win!

The photo below was originally not my favorite and I was not going to include it but I changed my mind – there is so much sass captured in just one shot!

And now, cheers to the weekend!

In my opinion, as long as you feel good in your outfit and it’s still wearable, it’s good fashion! =) When you’re comfortable in your outfit, you can carry the style well. Just like you did in these pictures.
My weekends was pretty relaxing. Had tea with my other half and had dinner with friends.

That’s crazy that NYC is still so cold! Here in Berlin it’s going to be 66 and sunny on Tuesday, I can barely contain myself. Spring is such an exciting season when the city comes to life again! And like you, I’m excited for it to be socially acceptable to drink rosé again 😉

Can’t wait to wear some of my new dresses and heels but the weather reverted back to winter again in NYC. February was warmer in NYC than March. Well that’s climate change for you. Hopefully tomorrow when I go out to dinner I can wear a dress. But I do see the end of the tunnel for winter. As for your winter outfit I like your boots.
