Best Dressed at the 2017 Golden Globes

Does anyone else feel like the holidays were months ago, not just two weeks? I was having a conversation with friends on Saturday night that I had not talked to someone since Christmas, making that sound like ages ago, when really it was only two weeks. It was nice to be able to attend a holiday party in January and keep a bit of the festivities going to but my dress to impress look was put to shame but many of the gorgeous gowns at last night’s 74th Golden Globe Awards.

And the best couple of the entire event?  Chrissy and John looked great but my vote definitely goes to my past Style Icon Blake Lively and her adorable husband Ryan Reynolds who looked absolutely stunning!  They looked so good it was even hard to pick just one shot from this article of how great they look! 

And then comes the part that everyone usually likes the most, the part where I share my least favorite looks.  I have made it a point over the last four and a half years of trying not to put pregnant ladies on my worst dressed list and it seems that I disagree with many of the critics but I really did not like Natalie Portman’s yellow gown. Moving on from that though this year, topping the list of the worst dressed at the74th Golden Globe Awards (and all images from these came from the E! gallery of arrivals) were: 

And if I was to ever go to an award show, while the Oscars in the creme de la creme, I think the Golden Globes would be more fun between the combination of movie and TV stars along with food and drink – yes please!  Lastly, a huge congratulations to Meryl Streep on winning the Cecil B. DeMille Lifetime Achievement award!
