First thing first, in over four years of blogging I have never written about politics and I don’t plan on ever broaching the topic. This is a happy place and today I want to talk about one of my favorite things that has fallen a bit by the wayside with all of the traveling I have been doing lately, shoes! Believe it or not, my most recent shoes purchase was not these booties, in fact they were not heels or even Fall shoes at all but are sneakers! I think my parents will be proud to read that after more than 20 years of them asking I finally bought and have been wearing a pair of sneakers for walking around. I purchased a pair of black and white Nikes that are not for the gym, they are for long days of walking around and they are seriously the best, but today, back to heels.
Fall is now finally here and that means new booties! I picked up these booties at the end of last season at a Vince Camuto sidewalk sale and now I am so glad it is finally the right time of year for these Louise et Cie Booties. The combination of the suede, leather, gold hardware, and zippers makes for a truly eye catching boogie – take a closer look at these pretty ladies.

My roomie bought those exact Nikes, and I bought a similar style but New Balance!
