Last week another pair of shoes joined my recently revamped shoe closet and I am very excited about these Michael Kors Gabriella Wedge Sandals. I have a few pair of nude sandals but I was looking to add a shoe that gave me height without being as closed off as a black pump or as tipsy as an extremely strappy sandal. These wedges are perfect compromise with the open-toe crossing straps, straw bottom, shiny patent leather, and pretty buckle closure.
I could not wait to wear them so as soon as they arrived at the office last week I ripped open the box and pulled them on – with a heel height of 4.5 inches I immediately towered over some coworkers as I walked back and forth like I was in Neiman instead of an open floor plan advertising agency. It is true, with a platform height of nearly two inches, it is not sheer vertical but these shoes definitely add a great deal of height and for just over $100 a great addition to any summer dress!

I’m all about wedges for summer (well for life really haha). They elongate my legs, but let me be comfy enough to be moving & grooving. I’m sure you’ll wear these a ton – especially with your June dress challenge!

I love wedge sandals. They look comfortable & give height. Your shoes are very pretty. High heel strappy sandals are my favorite but my feet can handle them for only so long. You should model these shoes with one of your dresses for your June Dress Project.
