Did you see Taylor Swift’s stunning Reem Acra gown that she wore as the maid of honor in her best friend’s wedding? If not you really need to check it out. With the Grammy’s last weekend, and Tay’s great win, music has been more of a conversation with my friend’s than usual. It may come as a surprise to some but at any given time when I am at the office if you pull the headphones out of my computer you will be treated to some great country music. Not what people have me pegged as. One told he we assumed I would be a Swiftie, and she does have some great songs, and another that my go-to playlist would be the top 80’s pop stars. But in truth, I love country music.
The photo above is from two years ago on Broadway in downtown Nashville when my love of country music was still budding. Now my adoration is full fledged and it does not hurt that my first country music love, Sam Hunt, is one of the most attractive men on the radio. (Even my mom agrees) I thought I would share with you some a bit more real today, so here is a list of the songs I currently have on repeat. Some of these are so under the radar they do not have music videos so I found the YouTube video with the best audio quality. Take a listen and hopefully you will find a new song you like! I LOVE country music! I’m from a small country town (home to Red Rock- the famous bull that Lane Frost rode) so I grew up pretty much only listening to country. My favorite is to country swing dance with my dad 🙂

i don’t listen to country music, but i grew up all around it. my uncle loves it and is a song writer. at my job, i’ve been around lots of country music artists, and have even gotten to do their makeup a couple of times!
