I fan of eBay and have been for years. Long enough hat my eBay username is my sixth grade AIM screen name! I do not buy a ton of things but when shopping for an oddity item if Amazon Prime does not have it in my price range Ebay is often the next place I turn. Over the past few years there are two things I buy on eBay that can really not be beat – earring backs and electronic accessories.
I am not sure how it is possible but I manage to loose earring backs like it is nobodies business -s how do those little tiny things get away from you? And then when you are missing one it is never a good idea to steal one from another pair because then you are out of luck next time. I have found the best solution to this problem is, for less than $2.00 picking up gold or silver butterfly backs and a pack of Clear Rubber ones for less than $2.00 with shipping. Not pictured are circular with Posts.
I have also bought electronics through eBay with an 80% success rate. The tricky thing, it is not eBay who is responsible if it does not work or the product is not the same as it was described, it is on the seller. Because I never want to fall in that 20% bucket again have resorted to buying electronics from Amazon or B&H Photo here in New York City and buying accessories, especially for my DSLR on Ebay.
Every time I get a new lens I make sure to pick up a Lens Cap Keeper Holder Leash and this one actually came from California (I have found much faster shipping when you buy within the United States. And for less than $5.00, including shipping, I purchased a 67mm UV Ultra-Violet Filter Lens Protector for Canon. Ever since someone dropped my DSLR at fashion week and my lens has saved hundreds of dollars demise when the gentleman just cracked the inexpensive UV filter.
And while they do not fit into the top two I purchased 20 two-inch gold necklace extenders to put on necklaces so they can sit right with different cut shirts, especially scoop neck. As of yesterday they are still available and less than $2.00!
What do you think the best things to buy on eBay are?
