Oh my goodness, last night was swoon worthy. The Oscars red carpet was one of my favorite to date and while I would like to congratulation everyone who took home a gold statue at the 87th Academy Awards, especially Eddie. I have mentioned it in half a dozen posts but I had been rooting for Eddie Redmayne to win the Best Actor award for his role in The Theory of Everything since I saw it in the fall, he was brilliant and I am so glad they got it right! Now let’s talk about the really important things, the red carpet. These are my favorite dresses and girls who absolutely killed it!

This was one of the best Oscar’s Red Carpet showings in years. And I have to give a shoutout to my three favorite couples of the evening Hannah Bagshawe and Eddie Redmayne,Channing Tatum & Jenna Dewan, and Behati Prinsloo (who wore Armani Privé) and Adam Levine. And the red carpet would not be nearly as fun if there were not any what-were-you-thinking looks as usual, the misses:

Other gowns I did not love include Lorelei Linklater, Gwyneth Paltrow, Joanna Newsom, Rosamund Pik, Nissa Kashani, and Naomi Watts but over all a terrific and fashionable evening.

I’m 99.9% with you on everything, but I kind of liked Julianne Moore’s dress. I’m really happy you didn’t Like Nicole Kidman’s. Some people raved about it, but I thought it looked cheap and badly cut. Bleh.

Kelly!! How could you not like Rosamund Pike’s dress?! It was absolutely gorgeous!! I’m pretty much with you on everyone else though. I liked the bodice of Felicity Jones’ dress, but would have preferred it to be form fitting to the bottom.

I loved ScarJo’s red carpet style… she looked SO chic! And in my opinion, very memorable. I also thought Gwenyth Paltrow’s pretty in pink ensemble was memorable…

Jennifer Aniston looked freaking hot. I love her. I loved Reese Witherspoon and Anna Kendrick too. Those three were probably my favorites but the fashion was definitely the best at the Oscars this year. Some of the other awards fell through but this one they all brought their A-Game. I wasn’t a fan of Keira Knightley’s dress but she looks so adorable pregnant. I love her.
