Black Lace for a Wedding

Two of my good friends got married last weekend and I had the best time at their wedding.  Walking down the isle to find my seat the usher was the captain of the swim team my freshman year and it only got better from there.  James and Lindsay (who were at Sparkles and Shoes’ 2nd Birthday Party) were both members of the Georgetown swim team with me so it was hard to pick which side of the church to sit on!  With sixteen former teammates at the 200-person event was by far the classiest swim team party I have ever been to, and arguably, the most fun! 

While hundreds of fashion bloggers decided on the Empire Hotel Rooftop for the infamous Reward Style party I was walking into a church in Pennsylvania to see the happy couple get married.  I had rented a beautiful by Theia from Rent the Runway but on a fluke I went into H&M the next day and found this dress. Game over. And for the price, it could not be beat! I am really happy with how turned out:

 The wedding was beautiful, the reception was amazing, and the after party?  Well, there were a lot of delicious french fries and we will leave it at that.   With how much fun I was having I forgot to take outfit photos after the church so instead I will leave you with a few of my favorite shots from the evening:   

I am going to put this in writing in hopes that it will solidify it, but I am going to try and post an outfit photo every Friday from here on, wish me luck!
