As you probably saw on Instagram or read in Monday’s post I spent Memorial Day weekend in Cape Cod, Massachusetts with my family. Earlier this year I was fortunate enough to connect with Cape Cod based company Ellie Kai and was introduced to their wonderful dresses. Meeting the Founder, Designer and Chief Curator Liz Hostetter at the company’s New York City launch was a real treat and taking home this dress was icing on the cake.
On Saturday night I went to dinner at Masphee Commons only a few miles from the company’s headquarters and made sure I snapped a few pictures before! I am not quite sure what was going on with the flash and filtering but the color in the second photo are the most accurate.
My very nautical dress was perfect for a lovely dinner out with my parents at Siena Restaurant where I had the most amazing Pistachio Crusted Salmon Served with a Honey-Lemon Drizzle, Himalayan Red Rice and Grilled Asparagus. Oh my goodness, yum!
