Right now I am obsessed with white dresses. I have not seen them on the streets of New York nearly as much as I would have thought but they are absolutely everywhere in magazines. I especially love this Dior one Rosie Huntington-Whiteley wore last year at the Cannes Film Festival’s amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala. Honestly, the shape, the hue, the pockets, and the fact that she paired it with white pumps is head-to-toe perfect.
As the weather finally starts to warm up I expect to see many more of them and love how they can be styled in so many different ways – accessorize it with stacked bangles, a black blazer, metallic accents, tan pumps, neon blazer, loose scarf, or statement jewelry. I actually looked up the origins and the no white before Memorial Day or after Labor Day is due to women’s magazines in the 1950’s made it clear to middle class America: white clothing came out on Memorial Day and went away on Labor Day.
Well, I tend to disagree but even if you want to follow this rule – today is day one so here we go! Here are dresses in every price range:
Honestly, I would like each and every single dress!
