Post-it Brand Go Ahead Explore Collection - Bangkok Wall

On Thursday night I went to the launch of the 2014 of the Post-it® Brand “Go Ahead, Explore” collection at Glass Houses in Chelsea and as soon as I walked through the door, I was floored.  As I said on Instagram, there were more Post-it Notes in that one beautiful room than I have ever seen in my life. And that includes a giant three-story Staples and a corporate supply room.

As soon I read the line on the invitation that said, “Come explore the latest offerings from the Post-it Brand with Brad Goreski, celebrity stylist,” I was already typing my RSVP.  At the event the appetizers that meshed with each of the four collections – New York, Rio de Janeiro, Bangkok, and Mykonos – were absolutely delicious and after I said yes to the third one in a row the nice server literally followed me around.  Thank you sir, those little beet-goat cheese tarts were delicious.

After talking with Brad about the collection, Kate Spade, and what he has coming up next, meeting the actual creators of the new giant Post-it Notes from 3M in Minneapolis was inspiring. I mean, how cool would it be if your job was literally to think of new things you could do with Post-it Notes?  To round out the evening being able to speak with both Jennifer Jolly, tech and gadget expert and Dr. Michele Borba, parenting expert and author, were added bonus’.   Meeting celebrities is always exciting, weird, and intimidating and I love when they are actually humble in person.

    Oh wow! This looks like such a cool event! I lovvvvvve post-its and it looks like you got some awesome swag too! And I agree, it’s always so nice when you meet a celebrity and they’re down to earth. Makes you like them even more 🙂
