It has been a long time since I have published a post in this series and I am excited to get back into it. Like most girls, I have a handful of trusty go-to pieces that I immediately gravitate towards and that is the backbone of these posts. Officially, my I Really Love My… series was inspired by People Magazine’s series where they highlight celebrities who wear things more than once (gasp). Well guess what, I have items in my closet that have dozens of good wears in them. And that is A-okay with me.I read once that the average person wears 20% of their clothes 80% of the time and I absolutely believe it. While this ostrich tote is not actually a piece of clothing, it might as well be – it is the perfect neutral accessory.
This beautiful bag came into my possession in the summer of 2011. The week before I studied abroad in Rome I spent a few days with my mom and her mom in Florence. Between shopping in the outdoor markets, boutique stores, the leather schools, and little hole-in-the-wall shops I saw dozens of beautiful, different bags that would have been very welcome in my closet. However, I searched high and low for that perfect bag! Finally, on my last day in the Tuscan city I fell in love with this brown, carmel colored ostrich leather bag with gold hardware. Two and a half years later I am very pleased with my pick and it quickly worked its way into that 20% of my closet.

i have a few favorites that i always go back to for some reason – when winter rolls around, i have this amazing cross-check gucci bag that just fits everything and has the perfect amount of pockets and then in the summer, my gucci hobo that has a white strap and just goes with anything!
