It is no surprise that the blogging world loves Instagram. Those little squares can capture so much and is much better than a tweet or an occasional Facebook post.  When scrolling you see one photo at a time and it is able to capture so much, with the viewers undivided attention. I check it more times a day than I should and since joining over two years ago I have my favorites.  
Totally switching topics – since one of my New Year’s Resolutions was to get healthy I have been hitting the gym and one song, one lyrics actually is stuck in my head, “She’s on my top 8. I bagged her off of myspace” from Pitbul’s song Go Girl.  Not the classiest of lyrics but any means but it inspired me to pick my Top 8 Instagram accounts.  These are eight Instagram accounts, in no particular order, I am currently in love with: 
Wendy Nguyen @wendyslookbook

Wendy’s blog, Wendy’s Lookbook, was one of the first I have stumbled on and has never dropped from my “Favorite A-List” and her style is absolutely fantastic.  featured her as a Style Icon and every time I see one of her photos on my Insta-feed it reminds me just how much I want to raid her closet!  And boy, does this girl know how to use social media, never mind her Insta, which I love, her YouTube is really here shining star.  Her video 25 Ways to Wear a Scarf in 4.5 Minutes has over 22 million views!

New York Times Fashion  @nytimesfashion

The New York Times Fashion account covers all the fashion, style and beauty photos they see fit to post. One of the main reasons I love this account is because it is an even mix between men’s and women’s fashion.  Men often get so overlooked in the whole blogging and social media world by NYT does a great job to highlighting men’s style along with other beautiful images.

Emil, the beauty behind The Freckled Fox is a self-proclaimed styler of hair, lover of life and lover of beauty, fashion, food. Besides being unbelievably stunning I can not believe that this girl from Southern Idaho has FOUR children, the last of whom was born on November 4th and took those pictures in the red dress less than two months after having her – wonder woman!

Nature  @nature

This account was a recent find but now I am addicted.  It is a conglomerate of people who tag their own shots with @Nature or #NatureAddict and give me permission to repost. Through this account I have found so many budding photographers. This collection of photos are beautiful and bring a smile to my day.  Yes they look fake. No, they are real. Yes, I wish I took every one of these shots.

Kimberly Pesch @EatSleepWear
I am not sure how I came across Kimberly’s Instagram account but it is great, between her fashion posts and glimpses into her life I just find myself double-tapping along with her 75,000 other follower.   She is a graphic designer, fashion blogger, and cupcake enthusiast. I can not sum her up better than her website does, “Her sunny disposition and fearless attitude show her readers that it’s not about what you wear, but how you wear it that matters.” 

Anna James @FashBoulevard

You might already know Anna because I featured her as a Style Icon back in September but in-between getting my Fashion Blvd fixes I love keeping up with all of her cute outfits on Insta. Her blog is so real I feel like I know her – I can just relate to this small town girl turned LA blogger. It is no surprise that she is a contributing fashion + beauty editor for Lauren Conrad, Vanity Fair, and Fabfitfun.com – love her!

Humans of NewYork @HumansofNY

Humans of New York New City are simply portraits of one person, one story at a time.  Through this account and associated website I feel like it is a daily introduction into some of the fascinating people who live in my city! I am so glad a coworker introduced me to it because Brandon Stanton really has a way of having people open up to him and it does not surprise me at all that his book of portraits has turned into a #1 New York Times Bestseller.


Sarah Vickers  @SarahKJP

Sarah Vickers is the blogger behind the adorable blog Classy Girls Wear Pearls.  All of her photos are taken by her business partner, the co-founder of Kiel James Patrick, um, Kiel James Patrick her boyfriend fiancé.  She got engaged over Christmas in Scotland, please look at that first picture.  He asked her to be his princess. Swoon.  Besides that her style is phenomenal (cough, cough, she’s next up for my Style Icon posts) and from her blog and Insta uploads, she is the kind of girl I want to be friends with!

    I love this! I already follow Wendy & Kimberly, and I think I’ve found a few new ones too! Kimberly from eatsleepwear lives somewhere near me because she’s always eating at places in the area! I have so many places on my list to try because of her.
