Happy Labor Day! When I was young one of the subscriptions I looked forward receiving every month was the National Geographic my parents mother received. While I have not received a yellow paper issue in years truly enjoy there online presence, the NatGeo website has great content. As a city girl I absolutely loved their topic for the photo of the day in August, city pictures. Out of the 30 photos submitted by readers and chosen by the magazine these are my five favorites:

I love reading National Geographic! It was so inspirational as a kid and now it is a great read to dream beyond! The desire to travel is abundant! My favorite photo is of the rooftop garden in Manhattan- so gorgeous.
