I order an astronomical amount of things on Amazon Prime, mainly because it is so easy. With credit card information, shipping addresses, and billing information stored all I have to do is search, click, and buy. The shipping is free and regardless of the size or dollar amount of the order if it is Prime eligible it will be at my door in two days and I can order on my phone or computer.
The one caveat with this service is that you need to pay an annual membership fee for Amazon Prime but for $79 for you and your family you get unlimited fast shipping. Split between the members of my family it averages out to $19.75 per person which means I only need to order a minimum five items a year to make it worth it – NO problem. This is definitely the best deal but if your family does not want to sign up you then you can register as an Amazon Student and you will get six months of FREE two-day shipping and after that you will automatically continue as an Amazon Prime member for $39 a year for up to four years.Throughout college all of my Amazon Prime packages would come through the RHO or Residence Hall Office and when it arrived they would email me to come pick it up. After two years of receiving packages at the same RHO apparently I was infamous. Whoops! I actually do not want to say how many orders I have had in the past four years because it borders on insane but this service is absolutely one of the best things I have ever signed up for and something I use many times a month.
