In your standard miso soup, the paste that makes the broth is my favorite! My first choice is red miso paste but I will never say no to white paste and when it is mixed with tofu and wakame seaweed the combination is to die for.
I love ordering miso soup at restaurants because it is not only one of my favorite types of soup but because the salty goodness is usually one of the least expensive things on the menu. When I am at work or at home I enjoy “Kikkoman Instant Tofu Miso Soup (Soybean Paste Soup with Tofu)” as a tasty low-calorie snack which I order from Amazon Prime and all I have to do is mix it with hot water.
Unlike most people I drink hot soup year round because it is delicious and a great way to warm up in the arctic environment of my office in the summer. Some of my friends think this is strange, but that’s fine because it is one of my favorite things!
