Travel Blogger at the Hofburg Palace in a Scalloped Trim Dress

There is something so flattering about a scallop hem and over the winter I picked up two dresses with this pretty detail – one in Hunter green and one in a deep maroon. And I can always tell I really like something when I choose it for special occasions – the green one for my birthday drinks and the red one for Valentine’s Day date night.  However, both of these dresses are long sleeve and for a Summer without air conditioning (hello England) they are a bit too much. Thus I am on the hunt for pieces which a chic scallop hem that are not overly warm:

And some other honorable mentions include these four white numbers Bleu by Rod Beattie  I’ve Got an Eye for You Cover-Up Tunic, this adorable Lily Pulitizer Lexa Off-The-Shoulder Dress along with this Temptation Positano Quito Lace Miniskirt and this chic but pricy Rebecca Taylor Sleeveless Mina Eyelet Dress in Milk.   As I mentioned, options for all seasons but there are a ton of chic options in stock that you can have delivered right to your door!  And now for the dress I mentioned in the intro – here is a shot of the Hunter green number in Vienna from our trip last Fall and I checked, it is still available and you can find it here, Laser Cut Scalloped Trim Belted Dress.

What do you think of the Scallop Hem trend?

It’s a tie for me if I like the bathing suits or the dress better.

Might just have to get both.

Glad it is coming back and really like the options you choose 😊

Too funny, I just saw someone with a navy scalloped bathing suit. The scallop was around the straps in the front and a straight line on the back and it was stunning.

Wasn’t sure if the trend was back as I remember for a while it was a big look for shorts.

    Glad it is back!

I love the scallop hem look! They’re beautiful, and perfect for summer. That dark green dress in your photo is beautiful!

This Scallop trend can work for any season except winter. I love it. Out of all of the items here the blue dress is a screaming buy. Today is a travel to the office day. Today’s outfit is a flower dress with my pink high heel sandals. Rest of the week is work from home for me.
