On Valentine’s weekend,The Bureau NYFW Showcase transformed the iconic Gotham Hal linto a vibrant runway celebration of innovation and emerging voices in contemporary fashion. Against the venue’s majestic architecture – a space I had not been in since a Georgetown event in 2013 – the showcase featured , a diverse lineup of designers took the stage with fresh perspectives — from performance-infused activewear to couture swim statements and bold avant-garde look.

If you define my favourite show as the one I took the. Most photos of then Kissy King would take the cake – particularly because of the flow gowns – so much fun to shoot on action mode. In order that the collections came down the runway:
Dragonwing: Dragonwing delivered high-energy metallic performance wear that felt straight out of Netflix’s Cheer, with teen and tween models and fun styling touches like golden crowns.

TLGHMN: TLGHMN brought an edgy, avant-garde mix of streetwear and conceptual tailoring, with sculptural silhouettes that felt bold and fashion-forward for a certain clientele.

Kissy King: Kissy King served glamorous swim and resortwear with a confident, elevated vibe — and a standout moment was the diverse casting, with models ranging from age 3 to 43.

Lost Connection: Lost Connection leaned into a modern, slightly moody aesthetic with graphic elements and layered looks that felt truly wearable in 2026 – may I have the camel coat please?

Fierce by AP: Fierce by AP showcased statement-making pieces with rich fabrics and intricate details like embroidery and crystal accents, designed for maximum confidence.

BLONY: BLONY featured a smaller collection, but the clean, minimalist silhouettes and polished styling made it feel chic something I could see those in the boroughs wearing.

Headlines: Headlines stood out for bold graphic and typographic pieces that felt like fashion with a message and hello sequins.

Zara Asaf: Zara Asaf delivered sleek, modern elegance with refined tailoring and balanced silhouettes that felt quietly luxe.

And there you have it, highlights of the The Bureau NYFW Showcase, AW 2026!
