We just got back from a week in Turks & Caicos and I am tempted to start Googling return flights – we had such a great time and it was so nice to step outside in sandals and without a coat. I shared a post while we were still in the Caribbean here but it was only one photo so clearly more were needed. Full reviews are coming later but I wanted to share the snaps that have made their way into the “favourite” folder on my phone from our latest family holiday.

Henry and Lily went to their respective kids clubs for a few hours most days which allowed Mark and I to have some much needed quality time including “adult” drinks and hardcover books.
Behind the scenes of our professional family photoshoot – get ready to see the results soon!

She is two but why does she look like a teenager?

The two shots below are stills from a video I took (with my phone propped up against a pool chair) but they truly show just how much fun the littles had – these weVSwe Baby Toddler UPF 50+ Sun Protection Rash Guard Swimsuits really are a must have!
I went scuba diving on three different days and on the last Mark joined me.

Lily was thrilled to hear that I got to see real turtles and sharks when I went “swimming under the water” and was even more impressed when I showed her these photos.
There are four things I love about this this photo, swimming in the rain with my Lily girl.
- Warm rain is 100x better than cold rain.
- I will always remember how she started signing “rain rain go away” while playing in the rain.
- Aperol spritzes’ make me happy.
- I’m glad I got this one piece swim suit piece right before the trip.

The resort was quite large, especially as we stayed in Key West Village to the far West of the property so the stroller and baby carrier both came in very handy.

I was only planning on writing a handful of sentences and sharing a few photos but instead you have a full photos and 14 shots – isn’t that how it always goes? Hope you enjoy this update, my snaps from our Turks & Caicos Family Getaway.
