Tis the season of layers! Usually at this point of the year I have many layers on or packed any time I go outside but at this stage in pregnancy, sadly very little fits. I considered buying a third Columbia Half Zip but talked myself out of it … something I am now regretting. On this latest edition of I Really Love My… I want to reintroduce you to a pullover has featured on Sparkles & Shoes 7 more times than I could count. However, since it is a black basic top great for layering it has been hidden in the background and rarely called out so today is it’s time to shine.
My first Columbia Half Zip, specifically the Columbia Women’s Omni-Heat™ Midweight Baselayer Half Zip, was a gift from my parents soon after I graduated university. Columbia says ” Our advanced thermal-reflective technology is built to retain body heat without sacrificing breathability” and I would agree. After I got fit during COVID my second purchase was an absolutely identical half zip, just in a smaller size. In their range it is considered a base layer and since the inside is tiny silver reflective dots that remind me of scales I lovingly refer to this as my mermaid.

It certainly has traveled the world and looks like it packs really well and is not bulky. I still have a few more Christmas gifts to get and I think this is going to make my add to the list.
You always come up with the best ideas, Kelly thank you and merry Christmas
