You may remember my post from October, with Lily loving Lovevery, and we are back again with a second edition but this time it is so much better. I had a whole list of reasons why but I am going to start with Mark’s after he looked at the photos of both – “look how much more she engages with the toys”, and yes, it is so true! Now that Lily is ten months old she is so much more engaged with her surroundings and especially in seeing how her toys work.
In case you need a quick refresher Lovevery has playkits that are designed with education toys that are the meant for the age of your child. We started with the The Senser Play Kit when Lily turned five months old, then added The Inspector Play Kit to her toys when she turned seven months old, and now at the start of the year when Lily turned nine months we were gifted this Explorer Play Kit.
These photos were taken over the last month – hence the different outfits and backgrounds – as my little girl has explored each and every one of these toys. Unlike the first Lovevery recap post Lily is not smiling at the camera in most of these photos despite my best efforts but in retrospect, that is better. She is 110% focused on these toys and how they work. This is one of the best sponsorships I have done in years, as Lovevry sent Lily this playkit and not only do we love it but it is certainly something I would have purchased if it had not been gifted. Take a look:
First Blocks | These red, orange, and yellow cubes focus on both teaching cause / effect and build early STEM (Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) for babies. I am not sure how much STEM Lily is getting out of them but she loves the noise they make when she bangs them together.
Stainless Steel Tip & Turn | This toy is meant to help Lily practice coordination with both hands and the idea of object permanence. To be honest, she loves the fact that the ball rattles more than anything.
Montessori Egg Cup | While seemingly very simple this classic Montessori toy really helps babies build both concentration and coordination and it might be the biggest hit of the Lovevery Explorer kit.
Bright & Light Play Scarf | We started by tossing and playing peek-a-boo and now pulling the scarf out of (but not so much back into) this clear tube.
Little Grip Canister Set | Three stacking cups that build on those from the earlier set are said to be ergonomically designed for little hands with the intention of teaching about volume and Lily is particularly OBSESSED with the purple jar with the flip top.
Clear Tube With Stacking Rings | This toy was designed to teach containment and ring stacking but it is hard to get a picture of it together as Lily loves to pull it apart.
Stainless Steel Jingle Keys | At ten months things that rattle are extremely fun, as are things that are shiny, so this key ring is the best of both and is a safer option to hold and bite then mummy’s keys.
Not pictured is the ‘How I Feel’ Board Book but we have read this a number of times as well. It is also worth noting that some of the items in The Explorer Play Kit in Europe (and the UK) are different than those in the US so if a few of these toys look new, that’s why. As you can see we also still love the Totter + Tumble x Morris & Co Reversible Playmat, it has been one of our best purchases to date!
Can you see how much Lily loves the Lovevery Explorer Kit?

One of my friends gave me a subscription for my baby last year, and I absolutely think it’s the best gift anyone could ever give you. The products last forever they are so well-made, and my son is engaged in one of the toys several times a day. It’s just amazing to watch their development and see them learn to use the toys in different ways. Such a great product I hardly agree with you.

After watching some of your Instagram posts, I asked my mom to get me the Loverly subscription for my baby. It is the best gift ever and every new mom should have someone get her a subscription. It’s so wonderful to have the perfect developmental toy show up just in time. My baby is even still enjoying things Which she’s had for quite some time.

I have given this as a gift many times, and everyone always loves it. They really do make products at last forever, and are perfectly age-appropriate.
