October was a very busy month. I knew that when I was writing Lily’s seven month update but in trying to clean up the photos on my phone and diving back in to work I’ve realized just how busy. One other realization in the past month is just how expensive kids are. I knew this, I really did, but the costs just keep coming and I have lost count of the amount of things we have purchased for Lily. The concierge of our building even joked with me last night about how many packages our flat receives… yup. The only items I purchases for me last month were birthday gifts I picked out – items from my birthday wish list as well as a new pair of Nike sneakers (mine were falling apart) and two new body suits for work.
However it seems Sparkles & Shoes readers have had a far more interesting month of shopping than me. I have rounded up the October best sellers and i must say, ladies, I am impressed. Winter is coming. Boyfriend caught the flu but I am happy that I didn’t catch it. Halloween was a blast. We all had so much fun. Most of my dresses and summer outfits/shoes etc will be moved to the back of the closet and replaced by winter outfits till May. Kept some out for our Florida trip for Thanksgiving. Won’t have to pack as much because I left some fun summerly outfits in Florida for when I visit my Mom. The green pajamas are a must
