It is hard to believe there is only two months to go until London Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2023 collections are on the runway. In some ways February feels like ages ago and in other ways, it feels like yesterday. Towards the end of the month I posted A Recap of London Fashion Week February 2022 where I promised a recap on my favorite show, Aadnevik, and now you have it – better late than never.
Unlike some of the shows I have attended over the past decade Aadnevik is an incredibly well established brand from the Norwegian born fashion designer Kristian Aadnevik. Alongside his wife Hila their luxury London based brand has been around since 2013 and has countless celebs including Beyonce, Britney, and Rihanna whom they can count as fans. The Aadnevik was not at one of the LFW studio spaces but rather in a stunning venue:
As I mentioned with my RSVP I had been allocated a seat but as I arrived only a few minutes before show time (though shows never start on time) the seats were completely full. From an impromptu perch on top of the base of a pillar I still got a great view of the show which had the theme of Wolf Moon. Models from around the world, represented by the top agencies, strutted their stuff – take a look:
And then for the grade finale? It was a stunner and you can see the gorgeous venue in the two shots below and clearly I was not the only one who wanted to capture it. After the models last walk for a few moments the husband and wife duo behind the show came out for a bow.
So many gorgeous dresses came down the runway that it was hard to pick my favorite but if I had to it would be one of the outfits with tulle or feathers – oh so chic! Now if I only had a red carpet event to wear one of these to …
What did you think of the Aadnevik show?

This show was one of my favorites. I follow several bloggers and got to see many of the shows and this one sticks in my mind as one of the best.
I appreicated the differing textures and most especially the attention to detail in so many of the back of the dresses. I think that designers often forget to add a little something special from the back. Especially when one is at a party, as many people see you from the back as the front and many of these backs are real conversation starters.
As a personal shopper, this is one of my biggest things to notice.

I loved this show and can’t wait to see your photos from this years show.
I really feel like I was lucky enough to sit right next to you and experience it first hand.
Such creative use of the lace in so many pieces in the collection. Looking forward to see what they come up with for the next show.
