Christian Louboutin Bridal Collection
Now that we are offically in 2021 this is the year I am getting married, eek! And that means everything wedding planning is kicking it into high gear. You would think this would have been one of the first items I’ve crossed off my list and you would be half right. It was one of the first purchased I tried to make but it has been proving much more difficult than I would’ve thought because of three considerations: color, heel, and material. Let me explain.
For the color do you I want white? What if it’s not the same white as the dress? Or blush? Or navy for my something blue? I still don’t know. Then the heel – of course I want to wear a heel on my big day but I also don’t want my feet to be killing me at the reception. This I am debating how high I want the heel to be and two heights is not an option as my dress will be hemmed to the shoes. I also need to factor in that I’m getting married outside and there will be grass. It would be terrible to get a heel caught in the dirt walking down the isle, no? Thus I’m also looking at wedge options in addition to stilettos.
Lastly; the material. After trying on more than 20 dresses I can tell you the fabric is often quite fine. This is a consideration point because many bridal shoes have beaded or jeweled embellishments which I’m scared could get caught on the dress or pull the fabric. With all of these consideration points in mind, here are some of the wedding shoes I am considering.
1 | Badgley Mischka Feather Crystal Embellished Wedge Sandal.
2 | Manolo Blahnik Light Blue Satin Jewel Buckle Slingback Pumps
3 | Thamar Embellished Sandal JEWEL BADGLEY MISCHKA in Silver Leather
4 | Christian Louboutin Loubi Queen 100 mm
5 | Christian Loboutin Lace 554 85 mm
As you can see I have gone for a wide variety of options above – all of the things I find pretty from pointy-toe pump covered in sequins and crystals to leather closed toed stilettos with lace. And there are even more I did not Include like these Badgley Mischka Ever After Embellished Sandal or these Bella Bella Evelyn Pointed Toe Pump – I could go on and on, but I really need to get to ordering. As mentioned above, I need to decide this well in advance of May 8th because of my dress fitting. I need to have the shoes at the end of February to bring with me to my first dress fitting March 3rd. I am trying to remain super positive that even that can still happen given the impending third London lockdown but here’s to #positivethinking.
Do you have any ideas for my wedding shoes?

You picked quite a few Badgley Mischka pairs but I can see why. They are really gorgeous and certainly fits the Sparkels and shoes criteria.

When I got married many years ago they were not nearly so many options. You are so lucky. A lot of my choices looked more like grandmother shoes with a little bling on it. Definitely did not cut it.

You were going to be the most gorgeous bride ever and I can’t wait to see the shoes that you pick up. You have such great taste and what a lovely selection of shoes you have here.

There are so many pretty options here, it’s going to be hard to decide!

I wore pink Badgley Mischkas. They were gorgeous but SO PAINFUL! My advice is go for comfort over style.

Happy New Year to you. Wedding Shoes. They are as important as the dress. Being that you are having an outdoor wedding I would go with a wedge or block heel sandal. For the reception part if indoors I would go with a sky high heel sandal. If I was you I would make sure that the shoe is visible. Summary 2 shoes. As for me my boyfriend wants to marry me but he said that because of Covid-19 he would not want a wedding with everyone wearing a mask and I agree with him. We both said no to a zoom wedding too. As for mask wearing I am lucky to get my boyfriend to wear a mask in the store, imagine a wedding. How is Florida. Its a hell of a lot better than being locked down in London.
